The brief was to choose an artist, and design a weather app inspired by him.
I chose the artist Temi Coker, who’s work is unique and passionate.

Born and raised in Yoruba, Nigeria; Temi’s art is based on the traditional clothing, symbols, and culture where he grew up. Temi strives to communicate powerful emotions and messages through vibrant textures, patterns, and visual story-telling.
The app design
Home Page
– Presents all necessary weather information in one page.
– Efficient and light design to allow faster chaching
The toggle feature allows the user to switch between hourly and weekly weather information. The information section can be scrolled through horizontally, as the user is used to from other weather apps.

City Screen
– Displays weather information about the selected city
– Combines the artist’s visual language and texture with the city’s colors and videos.
“Add to Favorites” button in the bottom – left corner of the screen, for faster accessibility and customization.
